According to the news released by Shenhua Group recently, in the first half of this year its merchantable coal output amounted to 140 million t, rising by 28.6% year over year. Meanwhile its sales volume swelled by 39.2% year over year and came to 191 million t in the given period, including 3.2 million t of the coal exports which had dropped 44.8% year over year.
On the other hand, in June alone its merchantable coal production totaled 24.8 million t, jumping by 40.1% year over year. While its sales volume soared by 24.7% year over year and stood at 32.8 million t in the period in question, including 0.3 million t of the coal exports which had decreased by 57.1% year over year.
